We have been very fortunate to have some of our designs published in several cake decorating trade publications. Below is a list of just a few of the articles.

C.A.A. Spring Cake DOS - March 2006
In March 2006 Sam the Founder and President of Confectionery Artist of Arkansas hosted the largest cake related show that has ever happened in the state of Arkansas. She managed to host Colette Peters two time winner of the Food Networks Cake challenge, and Nicholas Lodge world renown gum paste flower master at the same event, simultaneously. People Magazine Amazing Real Life Wedding Issue 7/2007

Cakes by Sam, Inc. aired on KARK-TV 7/3/2007

A Cabot woman known for her cakes is featured in a national magazine. Sam Parsley started her business Cakes by Sam in 1995. Now her bakery is featured in People magazine's extra wedding issue as the place to get a wedding cake in Arkansas. Click here to view the video:

Cakes by Sam, Inc. Takes 1st Place in Cabot Parade 12/06
Cakes by Sam, Inc. took 1st place with the Best Float during the 2006 Cabot Christmas parade. This was the first parade entry time Cakes by Sam has placed an entry into any parade.

In the Fall/Winter 2006 Edition of "Searcy Living" magazine pg. 46.
Cakes by Sam.com was chosen as the exclusive cake decorator to be published in the special wedding edition called, "The Little Wedding Book". A full page of our cakes were displayed.

Mailbox News - March/April 2001
In the March/April 2001 Edition of "Mail Box News" two of my cakes were featured. On p.84 my 3-D Barnyard Scene was featured. On p.87 my 3-D Jungle Scene Cake was displayed. All parts on both cakes were edible.

Mailbox News - May/June 2001
In the May/June 2001 edition of "Mailbox News" magazine, my fruit basket grooms' cake was displayed on page 51. This was a chocolate 3-D fruit basket, full of grapes and strawberries.

In the November/December 2000 Edition of "American Cake Decorating" magazine, one of my cakes were shown on page 50. This cake was a 3-D Golf bag grooms cake, which stood 18" high.

Arkansas State Fair - October 2000
My cakes took "Best of Show" at the '2000 Arkansas State Fair Arts & Crafts Show. I took best overall, as well as 3 other 1st Place Ribbons.
