Shipping Terms and Conditions

   UPS is our preferred method of shipping.

Ground Orders: For the standard ground shipping delivery time on your order, See MAP below. Most UPS Ground orders will be shipped the SAME DAY, if you place your order online before 3:00 p.m. CST time. (excluding holidays and weekends, other exceptions may apply.) Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. CST will be shipped the next day not including holidays and weekends. NOTE: The day you place your order, does not count in the total numbers of days of delivery.

Shipping Times: Cakes by Sam, Inc. is not responsible for any UPS delivery times that may be delayed due to inclement weather, motor vehicle accidents, or acts of nature.

Express Orders: We offer UPS Second Day & Third Day Select. Most express shipped orders are processed the same day if placed before 12:00 noon, not including holidays and weekends. Express orders placed after 12:00 noon on a weekday will not ship until the following business day.

All orders placed after 12:00 noon on a Friday will not ship until the following Monday.

Tracking Numbers: You will be sent an e-mail containing a UPS tracking number once your order has shipped.

Note: Some select products may be drop shipped from other warehouses and their shipping times may vary from those shown below. Some orders may be shipped via United States Postal Service and will be charged accordingly.

IMPORTANT: All products are inspected and packed very carefully by Cakes by Sam, Inc. In case of damage, please file your claim immediately with UPS (1-800-742-5877) as we are not responsible for breakage of merchandise while in transit. No returns without our consent. SEE TERMS & CONDITIONS.

When you place your order, you will be prompted to choose the UPS method of shipping. The shipping charges will be automatically calculated for you by the UPS website. Some shipping methods must be calculated manually by humans, while others can be calculated on the spot by the website. The price calculated by the computer may be manually adjusted either higher or lower according to the actual shipping charges based on the method and products you purchase.

The shipping prices quoted by the website are for US shipments only (contiguous 48 states). For international shipments, we will calculate manually and charge you accordingly. If you want us to confirm with you before charging your account, please type 'Confirm Shipping Charges' in the comments box on the Contact Us Form.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

There will be an additional handling charge of $15.00 manually applied to every shipment outside the United States. See our Terms & Conditions. Cakes by Sam, Inc. is not responsible for International Orders once the package has left the United States. By placing your order through our shopping system you agree to pay any and all International Customs import fees or taxes. Cakes by Sam, Inc. is not responsible for any import fees that may be charged by International Customs, or any other currier. 

Items are shipped out only during normal business hours. Monday thru Friday 9:00 am til 5:00 pm. Please allow extra delivery time for weekends and holidays.

There is a $4.50 Handling and Processing fee charged on ALL orders.
